STUDENT LEADERSHIP CLUB
Criteria: Invite based on teacher recommendation
The Student Leadership Team is a group of students dedicated to building school spirit, strengthening student voice, and creating a positive school culture at NCHS. Members help plan and lead student events, promote school traditions, welcome and support fellow students, and bring student ideas to life. Through service and leadership, they serve as role models who BE CARDINAL and encourage others to get involved, feel connected, and take pride in our school community.
ART CLUB
Criteria: Needs to love doing art!
Students that are interested in doing art for fun, and socializing with others that enjoy the same things. We will be creating artwork to benefit the school and community. We will be meeting during clubs to plan projects and painting after school. Enjoy the fun!
CHOIR
NCHS Choir gives students the opportunity to grow their vocal skills, perform together, and connect through a shared love of music. Members will build confidence, teamwork, and musicianship while representing their school through performances and special events throughout the year.
RED THEATER
Criteria: Must audition or interview for a role. Must be passing all classes and maintain good behavior standings. Meet with Ms. Glass or Ms. Abell to join!
GREEN DOT
Green Dot is a violence prevention and intervention program used in high schools to foster safer school environments. The strategy relies on bystander intervention, equipping students with the tools to recognize warning signs and safely step in to defuse situations involving bullying, dating violence, or sexual harassment. By teaching simple direct, indirect, and supportive actions, Green Dot shifts campus culture to make violence unaccepted and safety a shared responsibility.
RUNNING BY FAITH
Criteria: Any student that would like come at 7:45 on Tuesdays, starting Sept. 1. We will meet in the auditorium.
Running By Faith is similar to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes is an international interdenominational Christian sports ministry that uses the influence of coaches and athletes to impact the world for Jesus Christ. The organization serves youth through school-based huddles, sports camps, and community events aimed at fostering character development, spiritual growth, and leadership skills. By integrating faith into athletics, FCA encourages young people to live out their Christian values both on and off the field.

PRIDE ALLIANCE
A Pride Alliance club is a student-led organization in schools that provides a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for LGBTQ+ youth and their allies. Members gather to foster community, advocate for equality, and raise awareness about LGBTQ+ issues within their school and local community. Through educational initiatives, social events, and service projects, the club works to promote acceptance and build a culture of respect for all students.

FABRIC ARTS
Fabric Arts is a creative space for students interested in sewing, knitting, cross-stitching, and other fabric and fiber arts. Members can learn new skills, work on projects, share ideas, and connect with others who enjoy creating things by hand. All experience levels are welcome!

GIRLS CLUB
Nelson County Girls Club brings girls in grades 10–12 together through friendship, leadership, service, and philanthropy. Through Big Sister mentorship and support of a local nonprofit, members will build lasting connections while making a positive impact in their community.
